Overview

During this tour, we explore the Sacred Valley of the Incas, home to numerous archaeological sites such as Pisaq, Ollantay Tambo, and Chinchero. It is also inhabited by indigenous communities who have inherited ancient Andean customs, brimming with mystery and superstition. In this region, we witness a fusion of Andean and Catholic religious practices, where pacos (Andean priests) and altomisayocs invoke the apus (mountain spirits) to express gratitude for blessings received.

The Incas held the Sacred Valley in high regard due to its unique geography and favorable climate. It is renowned for producing the finest corn in Peru and serves as one of the country’s key agricultural regions. Here, we can appreciate the rich agricultural traditions that have thrived for centuries.
